Crowdfunding and its multiple forms
Abstract
The phenomenon of collective financing is increasingly emerging in Latin America, demonstrating new ways of generating businesses, consuming products, and participating in creative processes. In this article, we explain what the phenomenon is about, what its reach is, what support the idea’s creators have enjoyed, and in which countries it has presently achieved its deepest penetration.
