Abstract

We support the editors of this special issue in its release. In addition to the unique characteristics of the subject matter herein, we wish to highlight the implications of employing AI in scholarly editing, which compels us to confront critical ethical and creative decisions.

Author Biography

Maria del Carmen Grillo

She is a PhD in Social Communication (Universidad Austral), Graduate and Professor of Letters (Universidad de Buenos Aires). He works as a graduate and postgraduate professor at the Faculty of Communication of the Austral University, where he has edited the magazine Austral Comunicación since its creation, in 2012.

Previously, she has been Dean (2012-2014), Vice Dean (2015-2016) and Academic Secretary (2011) at the same Faculty.

He has dedicated himself to the history of Argentine magazines and journalistic writing issues.

He received the Third Prize of the First Research Contest in Argentine Newspapers “Prof. Jorge B. Rivera”, organized by the National Library of the Argentine Republic in 2005, with the work “La Campana de Palo (Buenos Aires, 1925-1927) y el periodismo porteño de los años veinte: un registro de tensiones".

She is the author of two books: La Campana de Palo. Arte, literatura, música y anarquismo en el campo de las revistas culturales del período de vanguardia argentino (1920-1930), published by the Argentine Academy of Letters, and Los textos informativos. Guía de escritura y estilo, published by La Crujía.

She has participated as a co-author in several collective books. The last one is La Revista de Historia de América: Silvio Zavala y la red de estudios americanistas, 1938-1948, co-authored with Alexandra Pita González. Buenos Aires: Teseo Press, Pan-American Institute of Geography and History, Faculty of Communication of the Austral University.
