Abstract

This text aims to offer the reader some reasons about the importance and dangers that the so-called surveillance capitalism presents for liberal democratic systems, a system that can be defined as a mutation of the traditional market where personal data of all kinds and conditions are collected and processed on a massive level for its purchase and sale in different markets.
