Spaces for Dialogue between the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights
Abstract
This article examines the areas of academic and legal cross-fertilization between the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights. It also quotes some precedents in which the European Court has taken into account the case law of Inter-American Court and vice versa. It lists some examples of the “academic dialogue” between judges and staff of each of the courts.
