This article briefly reviews the comprehensive approach of restorative justice, seeking to anticipate the benefits of restorative practices, especially in criminal proceedings, where the parties' autonomy of will plays a key role. In this context, the main objective is to vindicate the voices of women in cases of domestic and gender-based violence, as well as the importance of validating their stories without revictimizing them.
