Unaccompanied refugee minors in Mexico: How to protect their rights in case of detention?

This article aims to identify and understand the international legal norms and Mexican domestic laws regarding unaccompanied minors asylum seekers who are staying or moving through Mexico. Furthermore, it tries to understand the current implementation of the practice of arresting those minors and to question whether this practice is according with the main international treaties on human rights and child protection.
