This article discusses the central aspects of the friendly settlement agreement signed before the Inter American Commission on Human Rights, international human rights body, and the difficulty that can arise in its development. It also pretends to set position on issues that in the historical development of this conciliation process have created discussions or hindered its effective implementation.
